I think my favorite sandwich is a Caperese sandwich with balsamic glaze and arugula on a flat bread type thing that is a little crunchy but not too crunchy.

I, Max Sandwich, promise to never make a sandwich that has too-crunchy bread. Too-crunchy bread ruins the experience of a sandwich just as badly as too-soft bread. It needs to be just right.

When the bread is too crunchy is hurts to bite into. It feels like trying to bite through rocks and bones. I’m looking for an enjoyable experience.

When the bread is too soft it’s like trying to eat a t-shirt. Everything smushes together and gets mushy sticky in the mouth. Then your mouth turns to glue and that is not fun at all.
